Porters' Lodge (Storey's Way Entrance)
The Porters' Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day. The Porters are a great source of information, and act as a help centre for guests staying at Fitzwilliam. Please do not hesitate to ask them if you have any queries. For various reasons, a Porter may not be available at all times.
Car Parking
The College is unable to guarantee parking on site, but it is available in our car parks on Storey's Way and Huntingdon Road, on a complimentary, first-come, first-served basis.
Arrival Procedure
Check in at the Porters' Lodge where you will receive your room key and wi-fi information. You may check in after 2pm.
Departure Procedure
Please vacate your bedroom (including all luggage) and return your key to the Porters' Lodge by 9.30am (10am for individual B&Bs). A charge will be made for any key not returned.
College Access
For security reasons, the College is locked each night between 9pm and 6am. Access during these hours can be gained through the Porters' Lodge (on Storey's Way) and the North Porters' Lodge (on Huntingdon Road, unmanned) by using the swipe disk on your bedroom key ring.
Internet Access
We provide complimentary wireless internet access to guests - the Porters can provide you with access details.
Accessibility
We have a number of accessible bedrooms on site, subject to availability. Please review our accessibility guide here. If you require further information or have a specific requirement, do let us know in advance and we can try to accommodate you (contact us).
